I loved this book! I gave it the rating I did because I loved the story line and the characters Nadira fighting against love after seeing frist hand the abuse her mother went through at the hands of a husband she loved nidira's grandmother telling her that not all love is like that there is good love out there then tells her that she's destined to fall in love and be happy. Nadira fights it untill she meets Logan a major in the army at a dance she playing music for the attraction was instant the romance was hot but when logan proclaims his love for her and she for him she starts to get scared and then when he propoeses on valentine's day she literally runs for it breaking his heart in the process. But she makes up for it with her words and her music fighting to get back all logan wanted to give her. A very good read to me it was a short read but it was worth the money I spent on it. I enjoy reading every book by Dahlia Rose. I recommend all her books. She takes romance to a whole new level
What an awesome read Dahlia! I loved these two lovers. Once she realized he wasn't going to keep trying to change her mind, she got herself together... He gave her a dose of her own medicine and it didn't feel so good. Ain't no fun when the rabbit got the gun...lol
Would love to hve a Major Ross in my life. . mm mm mm. You tell a wonderful love story, full of passion and longing. When a loving grandma tells you the outcome before it ever happens. . listen, then you have to deal with the consequences. . . but it's gonna happen, fate decided it. Love the back story and the little drama stirred up from both pasts. Great job Ms. Rose.
This book was a sweet and beautiful romance. Sometimes i want to read a hot romance and other times i want the sweet fairytale, and this was it, loved it. I absolutely love the main female nadira, it is a rare gem to finally find a strong and upfront female, who does not play games, shes upfront ( by telling him straight up "look i have seen what love does i want no part" and telling him straight up "i ran into your ex girlfriend) i love it, she plays no games and does not feel her past makes her voulnerable or pathetic. She wants no sympathy, and understands she has had it hard and she puts limitations on the people in her life because of her past, this in my opinion has made her one of the strongest female lead characters i have ever read, and it also in my opinion makes her more believable and capable of love. Her upfrontness is almost like a challen, of only the strong will survive, supurb.
I enjoyed this short novel! It gives a lot of emotion in a short story. Very worth the money and time read.

I like this author a lot but this story seemed a bit immature for her. I liked the story but was expecting a little more then what was there!
