I love her books. Shd can come with such interesting plots. This one has a feel surprise ending. I liked it a lot and was sorry when it ended.
One of her better novels.
This book has a great storyline with lots of twists and turns which keep the reader guessing until the very end. If you like a great murder/mystery/romance story, then this is for you.
If you like Mary Higgins Clark, this is another good story of her's. If you like modern mystery stories, you can't beat Mary Higgins Clark. Quite a few of her books have been turned into made for tv movies with good results. This one was made into a television movie in 1997 starring Connie Sellecca. You can't miss with Mary Higgins Clark.
I haven't read a MHC book for a long time, and forgot how much I enjoyed her books. I thoroughly enjoyed the usual twists and turns of this book, and loved the ending.
I was disappointed with the edition, however. One mistake in spelling or grammar you ignore, two is a raised eyebrow. There were so many errors that it was off-putting. I like to get lost in a book, and an error takes me out of "the zone", so to speak. edition e-books should have the same standards as standard editions. This is not a complaint on MHC, but rather the publisher (Pocket Books).
It was a very gripping, fast moving mystery. A great Mary Higgins Clark mystery.
Every Mary Higgins Clark mystery is a pleasure to read. It is such a pleasure to read a good story with an absorbing mystery without having to read a great deal of over-heated and boring sex between the unbelievable super-hero and the innocent, good, beautiful woman.
It is also a pleasure to have an accurate view of NYC where restaurants, stores, museums provide a wonderful view of the City.
This story keeps you on the edge of your seat. All her stories do and are hard to put down when you get started reading. Anyone who likes mysteries will like her books.
